Choice of Target in the Genomes of Prototypic Strains to Recognize Subgenus of Coronaviruses

Targeted approach to recognition of coronavirus subgenus on the base codon frequency distribution in N-gene nucleocapsid protein was proposed work. Deviation genome analyzed from same distributions for 67 prototypic strains, which characterize 23 subgenera four genera, is calculated statistics proposed. The smallest value such a deviation certain strain points at this belongs. appeared be effective and supports significance recognizing least 99 %. Populations 38 7 codons providing needed efficiency level were selected out all genetic code accordance with their distribution. populations outlined fix taxonomic structure subgenus.
